Choosing the perfect pool house design can be difficult, and thanks to the high cost of construction, most homeowners only have a single chance to make the right decision. I am well aware of this challenge, because lately I have been thinking about building a pool house. I personally feel that I have great home decorating skills, but I know nothing about architecture. I cannot afford to hire an architect to help me out with the construction process, so I am pretty much on my own when it comes to choosing a great pool house design. Surfside Model by Summerwood
Summerwood offers many different cabana and pool house kits. The Surfside model features gorgeous cherry-colored wood and an attractive turquoise roof. When I first saw the photo of the Surfside model I fell in love with the unique combination of colors. I wondered if I should by the kit or continue to check out my other options. The kit includes building materials and easy to follow instructions. I know that it would be easy to put together and I love the fact that the pool house includes a small bar area with bar stools. The only downside to the design is the small size. I am not sure if the structure will be large enough to accommodate my guests. Although it would make a cute changing area and offers some extra storage space by the pool, I do not think it is is large enough to suit my overall poolside needs.
Pool and Garden Plans by Coventry
Coventry offers a wide range of pool house designs, but most of the designs are sold as blueprints. Blueprints are great for those who want to choose their own pool house colors. The downside is that unless you can read blueprints and perform detailed construction work you will need to hire an expert to construct the model. I was hoping to do at least part of the job myself to save money on the project. The photo of the pool house on the plan book cover is beautiful. The luxurious design makes the perfect addition to any large outdoor swimming pool. When choosing one of the luxury pool house designs, homeowners should remember that the luxury models look best in areas that have modern swimming pool lights and luxurious pool lounge chairs.
Wise Designs
Wise Home Design has a large array of wonderful pool house designs featured on their official website. They also provide plenty of great advice and photographs on the site. The designs are basic and practical, which means I would have to include my own design ideas to complete the project. I am not sure if I would want to come up with design ideas since I am no expert in the area. If I did decide to choose a Wise design I know that I could use the information provided on the website to help me make good design decisions. The website features pool area accessories such as swimming pool solar lights to make it easy for people to bring their entire outdoor area together.
All of the designs are superb, but I am still not sure which one is the best for my outdoor space. In the end, I will likely base my decision on the amount of work that is required during the building process. If I decide that I want to put it together myself I will choose the Surfside design. If I decide to hire a builder or put more time and effort into the project I will select the Coventry design, and if I decide that I want to customize my pool house then I will select the Wise design. Whichever design I end up choosing, I am certainly going to enjoy my new pool house once it is built.
